Euchre Night at Albion District Library

Grab your favorite partner, because it's time for EUCHRE! Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month, we'll be shuffling the deck and cross our fingers for that loner-hand that every player wants.

We will teach you how to play, so no experience is necessary. It is help, however. Prizes will be awarded to the highest scoring players (we'll teach you how that works, too).

Euchre (sounds like Yoo-kerr) is a trick-taking card game commonly played in the Midwestern United States. Most euchre decks consist of 24, 28, or 32 standard playing cards. Normally there are four players, two on each team, which is the variation we will be using.
